Your Writing Journey

‘…if art is not adventure, what is it and where is its justification.’

Albert Camus

Can writing be taught?

Writing, like most things, is a combination of mechanics and inspiration.

For example: You can be taught the mechanics of driving a car, but whether you become a Formula 1 Champion, that’s down to inspiration, the talent you’re born with.

The same applies to your writing journey; it starts with the mechanics, and only after you’ve learned those, will you discover the true nature and extent of your talent.

But here’s the good news, even the smallest amount of talent, once harnessed to mechanical know-how, can carry you a long, long way.
